We have two product types and two services we sell. We, through our Internet
web site, sell high quality historic photographic reproductions from our
photographic archives and high-resolution digital images for temporary use by
others for their businesses or personal viewing.

GlobalPhotos.com,
LLC as a photographic company right now has over 53-years experience in all
aspects of photographic shooting and reproduction. Winfield credentials as photographic
historian, both in the academic arena of remote sensing and practical
experience is taking quality photography is unsurpassed by most all others in
this field. In addition, GlobalPhoto.com, LLC uses high resolution and high
quality scanners to make only the best print masters from which second
generation digital or print image is produced. Lastly, GlobalPhotos.com, LLC
uses the best imaging platforms on the market in Canons EOS 1d Mark III and Ids
Mark III cameras. In summary we have the most experience and education and we
use only the best equipment from which your image is made.

The
finalize depends on the size or the input master. We produce the following
sizes.

the input size original negative or positive is 35mm we produce:

the input size original negative or positive is greater than 35mm we produce

NOTE:
All sizes are subject to the scanned quality of the original master. Prints do
not always meet exactly the sizes as stated because of the photographic
process. Print color as seen on your computer monitor may be different
than that color as seen on a printed product. Some artifacts may be present or
printed on products because of the age and historic accuracy of an archived
original. Some scratches or abrasions may be visible on a print because of the
same historic presence of dirt, scratches or abrasions on the original.
- What resolution do you scan your images at?
Low Resolution for web site use: 100dpi or
72dpi depending on customer’s requirements.
High Resolution Digital Images: These
images are scanned at various dpi to accommodate the customer’s requirement.
Scanned
Images for Stock Photos: These are scanned to a physical size and dpi to meet customer’s

film and chemical photography. Basic photography approaches are the same for
film/chemical photography and digital photography. Winfield consults with
people and companies who use photographic films and chemical processes. He also
consults on photographic shooting techniques in film and digital cameras. Winfield
does not consult on digital cameras.
